We exist to bring glory to God by making disciples through gospel-centered worship, gospel-centered community, gospel-centered service and gospel-centered multiplication. This is our process for showing love through service. Out of this gospel-centered service is the overflow of discipleship, serving those in and outside the church. One of the ways we live out this discipleship trait is through volunteer opportunities.

Mission Trips

Here at Friendship we try our best to provide ample opportunities to go on mission. Whether that would be locally, nationally or internationally. We have several trips throughout the year that go to:

  1. Unreached People Groups in Southeast Asia
  2. Our sister church and school in Haiti
  3. Fellow Saints in New York

ServeNC is an opportunity for every NC Baptist church to love its community in Jesus’ name through service projects. Here at Friendship we have taken on four main projects during this week of ServeNC.

  1. Partnering with other churches to help uplift the landscaping of Wolf Meadow Elementary School!
  2. Making Blessing Bags for staff at Central Cabarrus High School and First Responders in the area.
  3. Helping a local clothing closet clean-up and organize donations given over time.
  4. Hosting a Senior Prom at our local nursing home, Morningside.

Friendship Gatherings

Outreach Events: Throughout the year we hold several events to pour into our community. With various events we are able to engage, have fun with and share the Gospel with those in our community.

Church Events: Several meetings/events are held here at the church in order to help bolster fellowship, strengthen faith and edify the body.

Generosity

Donating your time is not the only way to serve at Friendship. There are recurring costs to operating and staffing our ministry, as well as helping us do work throughout our community and the world. We believe that God calls us to give, and to give generously. We give you a chance to worship in this way on our website.

Discipleship

As Jesus left this world, his parting words to his disciples were: "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you." We challenge you to be willing to serve, make disciples and be discipled.
